Spot Cleaning

Do you know how much I love that they love to do this?

I never ask them, but Ayla asks me if they can clean the spots on the floor!

I love it cause they do a good job... and I hate to do it.

Thanks girls!!!

The Correct Answer Is... (& a whole list of excuses)

Y E L L O W S T O N E !!!
...
We had a great time, and I have a whole bunch of pictures to share, I know I'm being really slow lately, but I will get to them.
I also have a new ultrasound picture of our still nameless baby girl to share.
Which just reminds me of all my excuses for being a blog slacker lately!
  • My scanner hasn't worked for months. I don't know why. I haven't even told Tony about it to see if he can fix it. It's probably something simple, but there's so much going on it doesn't cross my mind until I actually want to use it! So I've been taking pictures of the ultrasounds to post them.
  • Both of my lenses are broken for my camera. One completely, the other still functions just not so great. Yep, the completely broken one is the one I just had fixed. Sad. So, you know, I don't post much with out pictures.
  • Oh! Let's not forget, Photobucket sucks! How do you guys upload your pictures? I think I need a new idea.
  • I'm starting my work at home business, which required me setting up my own business, lot's of paperwork and studying like crazy to pass a test. This is what my time has been filled with. I'm excited for this! I can't wait to see how it all works out! It's medical claims billing and my test is MONDAY. Wish me luck!
  • UMM, and how about the house selling stuff? Yea, that's a big one too. Lot's of paperwork, lot's of cleaning & packing. For the last month or so I have kept the house ready to be seen at the drop of a hat, dishes done, laundry done & put away, toys cleaned up immediately, girls ready to go, shoes in the diaper bag so we can just walk out the door. I've actually enjoyed living this way for the most part, it's nice having everything orderly, a lot of work, but less stressful.
  • Then there's the trips. We've had Scout Camp, Cabin Trips, Evanston Trip, Youth Conference, Girl's Camp, & Yellowstone. Love the get aways!
  • & the 18 month old is C R A Z Y!

Hopefully, that will buy me a little more time! :)

That's what's going on here. Summer's always busy for everyone so I don't feel too bad about a little slacking. :) What's everyone else been up to?

The Big Two to the Niner

Happy Birthday Tony!!!
Tony turned twenty-nine years old on Saturday. We celebrated with a very yummy early morning ward breakfast, and then our own little party. Ayla insisted we wear party hats and have balloons while Tony opened his presents. We had each made him a card, and we gave him a little matress pump, and a razor that said NASCAR on it. We spent the rest of the day together, visited some friends, and then came home and got out the slip n slide. It had been a very nice family day and turned in to a beautiful relaxing night in the back yard playing with these happy little girls in the water. Doesn't get much better than this! Hope you had a nice day too Tony! :)

What These Sisters Do

I'm laughing my head off at these two! Oh my gosh! They are so funny! I just downloaded my camera and found all of these sisterly moments.
They are such jumpin' beans right now! REALLY!
This is their favorite thing to do.
A week or two ago ayla jumped the WHOLE flight of stairs- AHH! Tony and I both dove to catch her and she just looked at us like 'what's the big deal?' So now she knows she can jump no higher than the fourth stair, which I still think is a bit much. Most of the time she is a bird flapping her wings when she jumps. Tayvie is so cute, she knows she can only jump from the first stair and a lot of the time she doesn't jump so much as throw herself straight forward which I think would be harder! She counts to three 'un- do - DE!' and then she jumps.

I just thought these where funny. I love Tayvie's little leg hangin' on her sister (in that second picture), it stayed that way for a few minutes.

They are obsessed with the computer! Really cuts down my computer time- that will be my excuse for not keeping up so much! They both LOVE Farmtown on Facebook. They plant vegetables, and trees and harvest them. Tayvie's crazy about the animals, she loves the sheep and the cows! She does all the mouse clicking to plant and harvest things. Ayla asks me 20 times a day if she has anything to harvest, but I only let her check it morning, sometimes lunch time and bed time. I think it teaches them some cool things though. This picture, they are playing starfall.com which is an awesome site to learn alphabet and reading! This was so cute, Ayla was helping Tayvie through some of the stories, and Tayvie couldn't have been happier!

More jumping on Ayla's bed. Ayla has taken over my ipod cause it has her little stories and toddler tunes on it, but she doesn't always stick to those- yesterday she was jammin' out to Airsupply... that would be Tony's music. ey-yi-yi. But I am proud when she turns it on to a good Matchbox Twenty song (even though I know she doesn't know what she's picking, but she is pretty picky about what she likes and what she doesn't). This is another one of their favorite things right now, turning on the ipod and dancin' in Ayla's room, most of the time they end up in princess dresses too, cause how do you dance with out a princess dress?

After all that jumpin' everyone needs a break.

This one was yesterday after dinner at Grandpa's house. Ayla was reading Tayvie a book about Animals and they were making all the animal sounds.
