We-wa Wide

We do a lot of talking around here about We-wa (Rita) and the wide (Slide). Ayla LOVES Rita! She talks about her all the time, she pretends to talk to her on the phone. When she sees a picture of Dora the Explorer she tells me it's Rita. Rita is a little over a year older than Ayla and lives right next door, and she loves Ayla just as much. They both get so excited to see each other!

What Ay-a Wants

She's learned how to tell me what Ay-a wants. She will point to something and say "Ay-a, Ay-a, Ay-a" or she'll tell me something and then tell me her name, like "Ay-a wide bike." When we draw we always have to write her name and she says A Y. We have her name hanging in two places in her bedroom and she'll point to each of them and say "Ay-a." Too Smart!

My computer's still broken and we don't know what's wrong with it, but I have Tony's laptop today so I downloaded my pictures on here. I have so many, many pictures I want to share, way too many! How do I decide! I guess I'll just do a little at a time!
If you know me, you know I love little girls in blue! Especially this one with her beautiful blue eyes!

It's a girl.... maybe

We had a doctor appointment yesterday, everything looked good. It was really fun! We got to see the baby move it's arm up and down, it was really cool, got to see the heart beat and the face. It has a cute little profile, I honestly think that it looks like Ayla! Funny huh? I'm sure you can't tell by ultrasound! So according to the dr's office I'm 17 weeks (20 if you go by the date) anyway, so the doctor looked to see if he could tell if it is a boy or a girl and he's pretty sure it's a girl, he bet money on it. I thought the ultrasound was really easy to see everything this time and it definately did look like a girl to me! We'll see though, my big color ultrasound is on October 3, and that's when we'll be more sure... won't it be hillarious if it turns out to be a boy! We'll just have to wait until October 3!!!
