'Tis The Season

It's amazing to see how much Ayla has grown and changed over the last year. Watching her help her daddy put up the Christmas tree just made me remember watching the same thing last year, that doesn't seem so long ago. It's funny now, cause she always wants the lights on the tree on, and if they're not she says they are 'night-night.' Everytime we leave the house she says 'bye, Christmas tree, bye, bye' and waves to it. She is loving this Christmas season. She loves looking at all of the Christmas lights while we're driving. She says 'Aya's side' or 'mommy's side' depending on which side the lights are on. So cute, so fun!

32 Weeks

Today was our 32 week appointment. Everything still looks good. Our insurance is changing January 1st so I have to deliver at Ogden Regional Hospital instead of McKay Dee. I was a little sad about that cause that was a big reason we stayed in Ogden, but we still get to keep Dr Hartman and everyone I've talked to really likes Ogden Regional and some even like it better than McKay Dee... so it's good. The two hospitals are only like a block or two appart, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
I had the hardest time figuring this ultrasound out! The doctor was teasing me cause I just couldn't see it! It's just the bottom part of her face, the chin, the lips and the nose. I finally figured it out. I don't know why this is the picture he printed us... he probably thought it was funny, but the rest of the time we could see her really well. We sat and watched her open and close her mouth and swallow for a few minutes... it was so cute and just plain amazing to watch!
Ayla gets so excited to see baby Tayvie on the tv!

It's TIme For Another Doodle Bug Catalog

These are the two layouts Doodlebug used Ayla in for this Catalog. I love that they use her! It's so fun to see these. They have the cutest stuff! Here's the link if you want to see them on their website: www.doodlebug.ws

Baby Gracie

Won't she be a wonderful big sister soon? By the way, the orange juice I opened this morning doesn't expire until February 4th!!! So I could very well be drinking the same OJ until baby Tayvie comes... I won't be, but I'm just saying! :)

So here we are in the way back machine again. I'm so behind, but I'm catching up here. Just after Thanksgiving Gracie was born, Tanner's little sister. We were lucky enough to be at the hospital when Tanner got to see her for the first time. I love his reaction. You can kind of see it in his face, so cute! What a cute boy... and baby girl... and Trina's nails are beautiful!

Thanksgiving Trip to Mesquite

The day after Thanksgiving we took a quick trip down to Mesquite to see Julie, Kregg and the kids. It was so fun for Ayla to see her cousins. I love that she remembers them as if she saw them everyday (well she kind of does in pictures), but they just get a long so well it's really fun!Such cute kids!

Julie just posted some pics from this trip on her blog too.

Thanksgiving

Insert Picture of Gentry here, or the rolls will do just nicely:

Okay Gen, see what happens when you refuse to let people take your picture! I have no picture of your face... I have a fine picture of all the beautiful rolls that we can look back on in years to come and enjoy, but we'll always wonder where that other sister was that Thanksgiving.

We had Thanksgiving at my mom and dad's this year. It was YUMMMY!!! You all know how I love Thanksgiving a holiday that completely revolves around food- good food- my favorite food!

Oh yeah, and it's nice to be with family too!

Just What I Like

I love this little face.
I should probably clarify I'm really not an aspiring photographer. (as I'm sure you can tell from the quality of my pictures) I just like taking pictures. I don't know much about photography, I just do what I like. I don't edit my pictures, I have photoshop but haven't learned how to use it yet. I would like to learn more about Photoshop to play with pics just for arts sake, you know maybe do a whole Andy Warhol thing, oh and maybe to take the ketchup off of Ayla's face here and there :) and I would like to (need to, am going to) learn more about my camera. But that's really the extent of it. I just like documenting my life, my families life, you know whatever through pictures. So maybe I'm an aspiring real good picture taker!
