The Cutest Little Dancing Elves EVER!

This is too funny! And too cute! Julie put this on her site and I had to share it cause it's adorable! It's her kids and Ayla dancing as elves! Ayla can't get enough of it (really neither can I).

Chief Buppo

Ayla loves this picture of Buppo! She has said his name probably 50 times since I showed her this picture. This was how Buppo celebrated Thanksgiving. This morning Ayla woke up and wanted to wear her bee costume and hat, and of course ran and got Buppo so he could wear his too. So he is no longer celebrating Thanksgiving he is now back to being a bee.

It took me a lot longer than it should have but I finally finished this book! I usually don't feel I have the time to read, but I made the exception for this one and would get up early to read uninterupted or read a paragraph or two through out the day. For those of you who know Julianna Taylor this was written by her husband. His first wife (Krista) took her own life when she was 7 months pregnant, the baby lived for 9 days. The first few chapters were so hard to get through, reading through tears and really not wanting to read any more, but at the same time making me so grateful for my husband and my sweet little girl. That we have been able to know her and watch her grow and learn is such a huge blessing one that I hope to never take for granted, and hoping the same for the sweet little girl growing inside me. It really is an amazing story that gives you a fresh perspective on life. Although the first few chapters are extremely painful, I still would come away feeling uplifted and so grateful for my loved ones.
I'm linking the author's website you can buy the book there at a discounted price and you can also read the first chapter if you are interested. I really recommend it. I think we get so caught up in our own lives sometimes we don't even realize some of the things other people are going through. I'm thankful for the trials I have that make me stronger and although some seem big at times, they pale in comparison to what this man had to go through.

Be Careful Snow White!!!

This kid loves apples. Not neccessarily eating them, but she likes to see them, and points them out everywhere "APPLE!"

Little Red Ridding Helmet

As always, Ayla loved 4 wheeling! The other day she went to the kitchen drawer found the key to the 4 wheeler, went to the back sliding door and pointed to the shed with the key wanting to ride the 4 wheeler! I couldn't believe she knew what the key went to! So last Saturday we got to go out to 5 mile with my family and she had a blast! We couldn't get her to take the helmet off, we thought with it being so big it would probably do more harm than good but she had to have it on while she rode... and of course daddy went really slow.

GOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!

These 6 shots are all right in a row off my camera. I thought they were so funny! She was playing soccer and then apparently doing some kind of goal dance!

Dirty Fun!

Another favorite thing to do! These girls kept themselves entertained all day playing in the dirt. Ayla has always loved to draw in the dirt. Look at this little design she carefully made- so cute!

What was I doing 10 years ago? Ten years ago I was 16 driving around the "Jazz Wag" That awesome brown station wagon that would die at every intersection and we'd have to get out and push. But loved filling it as full of people as possible(helped with the pushing I guess)!
What was I doing 5 years ago? 5 years ago was our first Thanksgiving & Christmas as a married couple... ohhh, sweet.... We were living in the appartment on Cougar Lane. I remember I made all of the ornaments for our tree that year out of candy cause it was cheap... it was really cute too!
What was I doing 1 year ago? A year ago we were up in Kalispell. Ayla and I flew up to meet Tony, she was only 10 months old and just starting to walk. That was a really fun trip!
What was I doing yesterday? Funny you should ask! I have a really funny story if you want to hear it! But yeah, yesterday was a really nice day, I got a lot done around the house and getting ready for Thanksgiving and our trip to Mesquite!
5 Snacks I enjoy I'm not a snacker, I like real meals... let me think for a minute if I had to choose 5 snacks they would be: beef log, oranges(bananas & apples), cheese cones (easy cheese & bugels), Salt n Vinegar Chips, Artichokes.
5 things I would do if I had a million dollars Buy my purple dream house with a sunroom for my art room. I don't know if I would live in it yet cause I'm still happy here and I would miss my current house, so I would probably need to furnish the new one too. I know that's only two things but I'm sorry I think the million is spent already just on those! :) How cool would it be if I lived in a purple house though? Seriously! It would be cute and very tasteful!
5 Places I would run away to The Mountains... I don't know, I'm having a really hard time with this one, I guess I don't want ot run away right now, When I want to get away I always like going on car rides, I love escaping to Kalispell, and Yellowstone, and vacations
5 T.V. Shows I Like The Office, Lost, Scrubs, The Gilmore Girls, NewsRadio's my favorite but they don't play it anymore.
5 Things I Hate Doing throwing up, being away from Ayla, being pressured to do something, shopping especially when the store is busy, taking time to pee
5 biggest joys of the moment 1. Ayla, Tayvie, & Tony, those three have the power to make me feel joy at any particular moment no matter what is going on. 2. The music of Matchbox Twenty & Keith Urban (I won KU new cd on the radio last week). 3. THE FACT THAT TODAY IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY EVER!!!! mmmm! 4. The start of the holiday season and my house smells like wassil thanks to my yummy candle. 5. Driving my Pilot (maybe that's just happiness not joy, but I really enJOY it so it works).
** Special thanks to Tony who knows me better than I know myself, he answered the what I hate question for me and the snack question cause I just didn't know, but I knew he would.

Story Time

Probably Ayla's favorite thing to do. Read books. Good girl. She's growing up so much. I was downstairs and she was up and she heard me cough and she yelled "OK Mommy?" Yeah, I'm okay. She's so sweet to me. When I'm putting her to bed I sometimes pretend to be a sleep so she'll get the idea and she'll pat my head and say "awake, awake Mommy!" Then there's always the "Hello, Whatchadoin'?" This morning she came into my bed around 4 and when she saw me as perky as can be said "Hello!" She's so polite too, anytime Tony or I hand her anything - anything at all she says "Thank you" even if she is sad or has been crying those are the cutest times. She says please and sorry and nice when she's going to be nice. Things are starting to be almost full sentences even- when did that happen? Like "Aya want hotdog" (love how she calls herself Aya), and "don't want to." My favorite lately though is it's no longer just "no" when she's adament about something it's "No, no way!" I've written about how much she likes to help me clean, and she now knows how to spray the windex so she does the coffee table all by herself! She also begged me to unload the dishwasher yesterday... the kids idea of fun needs some work!:)
All simple things but I was laying in bed this morning after being awakened by the too perky almost 2 year old thinking about some of these cute things and realized I needed to write them down so I wouldn't forget them. She just jabbers all day! Jabber, Jabber, Jabber!

.

Whose having more fun?

Seriously! They played with it for quite a while... all of them!

After months of debating I finally decided to cut Ayla's long beautiful hair to even it up! This was really her first haircut (I had snipped pieces here and there but never really cut it yet). So a week ago Sunday morning I decided I needed to do it. I have never had problems with her pulling her ponytails and headbands out until recently, so I would do her hair and she would pull it out in the car so where ever we ended up her hair was straggly in her eyes. So Sunday morning I set her on our bathroom counter and started cutting, I showed her the first chunk of hair and she just stared at it like 'what are you doing?' for a few seconds! Anyway, I like it a lot, it's much easier to keep looking done. I think it's really cute on her. When we were finished she was more than willing to have a photoshoot with her beautiful new hair, she posed herself against the wall for a few shots and then decided that Bupo and Bunny needed to pose too and soon after her bike needed to be in it too! I tell ya, I've got this little girl trained to be a model all of the sudden.

Big Mountain & White Fish

We're still doing Kailispell pictures here! I think were almost finished. These are from our last Friday there, Tony got off early enough that there was still light outside so we went up to Big Mountain and walked around a bit. The first picture is the view of the valley from the top of the mountain. The picture of Ayla walking with her butterfly blanket and Bupo is funny to me, cause she had to take her butterflies everywhere, just like Bupo! The next scenery pictures are coming down from Big Mountain the view of White Fish Lake. Tony and I love White Fish, it's so prettty there. Then we stopped in White Fish and ate at the Craggy Range Grill Ayla had mac & cheese and as you can see she loved it! Have you ever seen anyone so excited about mac & Cheese?

The Kalispell Mall

Our hotel was connected to the mall. It's not too much of a mall, it's just one little corridor of stores, but right inbeween the entrance to the mall and our hotel was this little fishy pond, so that was fun for Ayla to go see. And the other fun thing was to go to Orange Julius and get a "shake." That's one of her new things, she always wants a shake, so she loved that!

Brrrrr!

We only took Ayla swimming once the whole time we were there, and that is because the pool was FREEZING!!! It was a beautiful oval shaped swimming pool but burrrrrr! it was too cold! Ayla was shivering and grinning the whole time! She still loved it anyway!
