The Littlest Sister

Big day yesterday! We went to Ogden for our big ultrasound. Tony was able to come and Ayla and Tayvie were able to watch as well. It's so incredible to be able to see this baby inside me! The ultrasound lady's name is Katie, she and I were both shocked at how stretched out this baby is! Her head is all the way up in my ribs and her legs and feet are just stretched out straight as far down as they can go! I had no idea! I knew where her feet where cause I can feel her kick but I had no idea she was up so high already! Glad she's comfy though! In that first ultrasound picture up top I think she looks like Tayvie! I have a dvd of the ultrasound and it's really fun to watch her little fingers and watch her mouth moving.

This is the picture that means she's a girl (see the arrow and the dot). The ultrasound is 30 minutes long so we looked several times and the verdict is a GIRL!!! This means I can still say "the girls and I" and "come on girls." This means all the girly baby blankets I have and bedding and not to mention all the clothes will be used again! I'm so excited about that! Everytime I put the girls clothes away I wonder if I'll ever see them again- and now I will! I'm excited for these 3 little sisters to grow up together! How fun will that be?! It's amazing how much putting a gender to the baby makes me feel her identity a little more- does that make sense? It some how makes her more real, I don't really know how to expain it. Good news! Good day yesterday! We're happy!

Our house is a very very fine house...

This is a hard one. 2009 has been a rough year over here at the Goddard house. It has forced us to make some tough decisions, and to make them over and over and over again. After months of procrastinating and hoping things would change we've now taken a step forward in that decision and we have put our house on the market.

We love our house, I walk around here feeling like it's a mansion in my own personal garden of Eden. The paint on the walls is part of our personality and holds some of the best memories of bringing these little babies home. We've loved working on our deck and in our yard together. There's nothing better than taking a walk around our neighborhood on a nice summer night and visiting with friends and neighbors here. We've been so comfortable here. We feel so loved here. This is our home, and it's hard to imagine any other place encompassing all that we have here. But I'm not telling you this for pitty, we know this is what we need to do and we know we will be happy as long as we have each other no matter where we are.

Here's how you can help: If you know anyone looking for a house, ours is seriously a KILLER deal because we need it to sell quickly to avoid debt. It is really an amazing house for such a low price, it's really a steal. It would be instant equity. So if you do know or hear of anyone looking for a house send them to this link www.houseforsaleutah.blogspot.com it has all the info and a bunch of pictures. It is on the mls too. Thanks for your help!

What did you say to our daughter?

Ayla: "What did my dad say to me?"
Me:"I dun no"
Ayla, phone in hand: "Call my dad and say 'what did you say to our daughter?' and he will say 'take that big soap and rub it on my face.' I will get the soap!"
...and she's gone.

Oh my heck, she's hillarious!
She sings everything she says lately.
Yesterday, she caught one of those commercials about getting rid of 'body fat.' So of course she asks me if I have body fat, which I deny. Then she starts singing 'We are getting rid of body fat, we are getting rid of body fat...'

She can always make me laugh no matter what my mood.
