The Best Part of Waking Up...

...are these happy little faces!

Tayvie is such a little morning person. She wakes up grinning. Ayla on the other hand is NOT at all a morning person, however if you let her sleep in and wake up when she's ready she comes out happy as can be and ready to play. If she's not ready to wake up yet the one thing that WILL cheer her up no fail is Tayvie. She loves to cuddle with Tayvie. She loves to hold Tayvie and help take care of her, and she loves it when Tayvie grins at her and giggles. Tayvie just loves to see her sisters face (she also loves to grab her hair).

Aunt Marci just got back from Chicago and these most adorable little jammies came with her in just the right sizes!

Just in time to illistrate my point: As I'm typing this Tayvie is right beside me playing and we hear little footsteps coming down the hall Tayvie starts squealing at the sight of her sister and the look on her face- where was my camera! Ayla comes down the stairs grinning I say "bom dia" and she just starts giggling!

You two are so much fun, I think you're my favorites!

Posin' in Purple

Two Little Girls In Blue

(Sorry, the colors went kind of funky on some of these when I uploaded them)
I was watching Ayla play with her friend Rita today and I couldn't get over how I was watching two little girls play. Ayla use to be a toddler that just followed Rita around, but now they are two little girls that play together. It was so cute to watch them, they were all over the backyard imagining and doing all kinds of things.
Soon I'm sure Tayvie will be that little toddler that follows them around :)

5 Months of Giggles

I looked at the older Purple Chair Pictures and honstly didn't think she had grown much if any. I thought this was going to be funny cause (in my eyes) she looks just the same... but now that I see the pictures she IS growing and changing! She's still my little baby...5 months old.
Tayvie @ 5 months old:
Weight: 11 lbs
Height: 26 inches
Loves toys, always wants to be holding on to something to play with and stick in her mouth.
Wiggly... wiggly...wiggly...wiggly!
She has to be moving constantly! She'll roll to her tummy and start scooting, she can scoot herself all the way across my bed in just seconds, like a little inchworm.
She loves her sister! She loves to watch everything Ayla does.
Lot's of cooing and smiling... She is one happy little girl for sure!
Still as sweet as can be.

Wimbledon.... almost ready!

We spent some time at Tony's grandma's cabin last week. It was so nice and relaxing. Their cabin is right next to a little river and they have a tennis court. I was really impressed with how well Ayla could hold the racket and hit the ball. She was really into it. After we let Ayla play for a bit Tony and I turned on the ball machine and lined up at the top of the court to practice a bit. I thought it was the cutest thing ever, Ayla lined up right next to me holding her racket with the perfect stance ready to hit. Tony told me to take a step back and Ayla did the same very carefully to line herself back up with us! Also you can see what a great little cheerleader Tayvie was!

A Perfect Day

We had a fun little perfect picnic on the Fourth of July. We drove to the always gorgeous Copperton Park, Ayla got to play on the toys for a little bit, and Tayvie got to play on the grass, then we ate our lunch and played hide and seek. My idea of a perfect afternoon.
