Reflection Perfection

I have so many, many pictures to share of our last couple weeks! I am really excited to look through them. Ayla was goofing around this morning and I was taking pictures and I thought this was a really fun photo. Kind of liked it in black & white too, I never can decide which I like best!

TAG: Why Do I Blog???

Sarah tagged me with the question "why do you blog?"

I think of it as a journal. Ideally, I would like to keep a journal for Ayla with little stories and pictures of what she is doing... I am doing that but am so behind on it, it's hard to look back and remember details and little things as much as I would like to. Journaling takes me so much more time, but I use this blog as a refrence for that. This I put my favorite pictures on so it makes them easy to find and then I put little things on here about what she is doing, like words she is saying, and what our family is up to. So when I work on my journal I look back on my blog to see what she was up to. That is my biggest and main reason for doing it and I'm so glad that I have it for that reason, also the fact that other people are looking at it and expecting new stuff every so often motivates me to keep up on it. I do also like that it's a fun way to keep in touch with friends and family. I LOVE to see pictures of other people's kids and families and see what they are up to and I love to share mine with all of you.

27 Years Old

Yesterday was Tony's birthday so Ayla and I made him a cake. She was so excited about it cause she knew it was for Daddy!

18 Months Old

Ayla turned 18 months old on July 24 and I've been thinking I needed to get some good shots of her for her 18 month old picture. So I drapped a curtain across the fireplace for a backdrop and took some pictures of her. I left the curtain hanging there and the next morning Ayla climbed up on the ledge of the fireplace with the backdrop behind her and started saying "cheese." So I got my camera and took some more pictures, and they turned out much better than the day before. She was totally posing and being a ham for the camera.

It Was A Great Trip!

Old Faithful

Ayla loved watching the gysers. We went to old faithful and afterwards she would point her finger up in the air and go "pshhhuuu!" cause that's what Old Faithful did! She was so cute the whole trip and such a talker... just jabber, jabber, jabber the whole trip, a lot of it jibberish but a lot of words too. She knows lots of words like "daddy big truck" and she would show us "trees" and "stars" and the "moon" and "rocks" and "Bup-bo" (her new word for buffalo). She would also say "whatyadoin" and "why" and "I sorry" So cute! She actually talked so much that the next day she lost her voice- we thought it was hillarious!!!

Wild Life

When Ayla would get a second to look away from her busy coloring she loved looking at the animals. We saw 5 bears, a tun of elk, a tun of bison, a few coyotes, and a moose in the river.
