So yesterday at church Goofy took the Sacrament! I thought maybe that's sacraligious but to Ayla Goofy is real so I'm sure it's okay. When the water came around Ayla took her cup and stuck Goofy's nose in it. Tony said "Ayla drink it." Ayla said "No, Goofy drink it." And then they shared it.
I'm amazed at how well Ayla is speaking. She some how picked up somewhere a long the way how to use words like: me, my, you, I, she... I didn't even realize she was doing that but she sounds so grown up when she refers to me as "you" and herself as "me."
My favorite little saying came last night. We walked in to Grandma G's house and Ayla stood there and so seriously told her over and over "Tay-tay coming soon, Tay-tay coming soon..." I don't think I've ever actually said that Tayvie was coming soon to her... I will tell her that Daddy's coming home soon so I think that's where she picked up the concept of soon and she realizes that Tay-tay's coming soon! AMAZING to me! This morning when she woke up the first thing she said to me was "I want Tay-tay soon." Then she went on to talk about Tayvie being a baby and sleeping in her crib... I'm so excited for her to meet Tayvie she will be so excited!
How adorable. I think she is one smart cookie and will make a wonderful big sister.
