Here we are in the way back machine again! I just realized I didn't post any of Ayla's birthday pictures! I was really sick that week so that will be my excuse, but I'll post them now.
We had kind of a busy day on Ayla's birthday. In the afternoon we ran to the store and we bought her a little heart doughnut that we thought we would use for her cake that night during our little celebration. We came home and I went upstairs to wrap presents, Tony came up for a second and then we realized it was too quite so he ran downstairs to check on her and she had found the doughnut and was helping herself to the frosting on the top!
She wanted to unwrap her presents in the butterfly room so Tony put her and all of the presents in the room and then we were scurrying around getting the camera and cake and I said to Tony "Are you crazy? You left a 2 year old alone with all those presents?" But when we walked in the room she was sitting in front of the presents waiting for us to give her the go ahead!
We gave her little Mickey, Minnie, & Goofy figurines (Grandma Cole later gave her the Donald Duck one). She loves them, and plays with them constantly still. We also gave her a floor rug that's a princess map, which the figurines all drive on and the castles are now Minnie's house and Goofy's house. And we gave her a set of plastic food cause she loves to cook, so she is now always bringing us banana's or frenchfries to eat.

I love her crown! What a fun birthday! So many fun and exciting presents. I can't wait to come over for bananas and french fries. MMmmmm.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures....I feel the same way about being behind but the differance between me and you is I haven't taken any pictures of my kids lately...I know what a crapy mom. We have just been so sick lately and I just haven't gotten back in a routine yet. I love the little picture of her blowing out her candles....her little puckered up lips sooo sweet!!!
