Dr. Appointments

Today we went to the doctor. We had Ayla's 2 year well child check up and Tayvie's 1st check up. Both girls did really well! I was very proud of them both! By the way, Ayla had cute little ponytails in her hair until we got out of the car! That silly girl...

Ayla is Two years and 6 weeks old today. She is 2 feet 10 inches tall, and 28 lbs. The doctor said she is very healthy and everything looked good. He was going through his list of questions and he stopped and said "She's a talker! I'm supposed to ask if she can string two or more words together, but I just heard her say a whole sentence." Tony and I laughed, we were like "yeah, she doesn't stop!" She just jabbered the whole time we were there, she wasn't afraid of the doctor at all. We did let them give her 3 shots this time, and Ayla did great, they layed her on the table and gave her the first poke and she said "Owe, that hurt me." She did great!

Tayvie is 3 weeks old today. She is 22 inches long and 8 lbs 2 oz! I knew she was growing! She also is very healthy. She has a bit of thrush, so we got a prescription for that. They had to poke her heals for that yucky test, poor little thing! Not much makes her cry but that sure did! The nurse couldn't believe how strong she is, she was kicking so hard both of us had a hard time holding her still!!!
