The other night Ayla and I made Chicken Enchilladas in homemade tortillas.

They got RAVE reviews from our number one (and only) critic.

In fact, he said it was one of his favorite meals ever

(must have been my little helpers magic touch)!


She helped with everything. Cutting up the olives (with the egg slicer- not a knife). Rolling out the tortillas. Putting the cheese on. She was there every step of the way.

Three Months

Like Father, Like Daughter

I was just remembering when Tony first met my family and friends. It was a Sunday night and he had come for dinner, after licking the gravy boat (yeah, he seriously did), everyone was sitting out on the front lawn and he went around and gave everyone high-fives! About 40 people he had never met before! He use to give me high-fives for everything... sometimes even now I get high-fives for random things

This morning we were sitting at breakfast and Ayla suddenly looks over at me and says "I wove you!... high-five mommy!!!" As my hand is covered in ketchup transfered from her hand, I realize they express their love in the same way! :) High- Five Everyone!

All Things Archuleta

"I can't seeee my blue eyes!"
"My blue eyes not working..."
"I can't open my blue eyes!"

Ayla fell asleep this morning in my bed and when she woke up she couldn't open her blue eyes... until she heard the words "David Archuleta" on the news! Then they popped right open and she sat right up "Daydid Arwedda!" I told her that David Archuleta was in Utah today and she said "No he not in Utah, no he not!" and I said "okay, well where is he?" She said "He's on 'merican Idow!" Then when he sang a song, she was glued to the tv grinning and giggling and saying "Daydid Arwedda is singing!"

Two years old and she has a crush on David Archuleta.

She's kind of hard to understand in this video but we had left the news on upstairs and were playing with the camera downstairs when all of the sudden Ayla heard him singing again.

I Swinging With Taybie!

AYLA: "Mom. Where my other sticker go?"
ME: "ooh, I took it off."

AYLA: "It supposed to be blue one. Right here!"

Right after we put these wall stickers up in her room Ayla went around and put her own stickers up, just on the green circles. So it's been a while and a couple days ago I peeled one of them off. Well, that didn't go unnoticed! How does she remember these things?

Then this is what I walked in on yesterday "Mommy, I swinging with Taybie!!!"

Actually, these two had a tun of fun playing together yesterday. Tayvie's face would just light up the second she saw Ayla. She did a lot of grinning, and squealing, and talking to her all day. And Ayla was helping her roll over (which was hillarious), tickling her feet with her own feet, playing ring-around-the-rosies with her (just holding her hands and singing it). She just played with her all day long. Ayla was just cracking me up all day with the things she says and does. Then later last night Tayvie was fussing and then quieted down, when I walked in the room I discovered it was because Ayla was sitting right next to her with her finger in Tayvie's mouth. Tayvie was just laying there staring up at her all content. They are both so sweet. I love so much to watch them interact with each other, you can just see the love from each of them. I love that Tayvie knows who Ayla is and grins when she sees her, she gets so excited! And I love to watch Ayla "take care" of her little sister, and tell me what Tayvie wants or needs. I love to hear her say "I wove my sister Taybie!" They are so fun!

She's married now!

These are my sister Marci's bridal photos. We had a lot of fun doing these! She asked Trina & me to do her bridals the day before I left for Montana. That was a fun day! We ended up with about 1000 pictures so these are just a few of my favorites. She was really happy with them (I'm glad she doesn't know any better... he! he!)!
