Let It Snow
There was a huge snow storm on Friday and we had plans to go sledding with my brothers. So we all got bundled up and ready to go. Tony pulled the 4 wheeler out and tied the sled to it for a few rides around our street. Then we went up to the golf course and did some major sledding!!! It was so fun! Ayla loved it! Tayvie was happy! Ayla and I built a little snowblob- It was supposed to be a snowman but the snow was so powdery. She was so concerned about getting him arms, and eyes and a scarf (I had to give up mine for that). I don't have pictures cause it was snowing so hard I was trying to keep my camera dry and I was kind of busy sledding too! It was a lot o'lot of fun!

A Proud Momma
One day in October, I got the girls all dressed in their fall flavored attire and we headed over to Legacy House of Taylorsville. They wanted to use my girls as models for their website and pamphlets. My wonderful friend Michele Cockayne was heading up the project, she loves my girls like her own and we sure love her.
I was SO proud of Ayla! You all know Ayla and she can definately be shy around people she doesn't know, but she was AMAZING!!! Seriously!!! She was so patient and followed directions so well! The photographer probably took a couple hundred shots with her (he totally favored her above the other kids, he really liked her). It was cold and windy but she was just smiling and talking to this sweet grandpa. This grandpa was super cute too, I wish you could see his shoes he was wearing old school black converse hightop sneakers!
The photographer took a few pictures with Tayvie but we had been waiting a while so my smiliest girl wasn't so smilie at that point. She posed with a grandma and we managed to get a few smiles out of her, but I haven't seen those pictures yet.

They Have To Be Nice & Comfy
Monkey See Monkey Do... Tayvie See Tayvie Too!
The other day Ayla came into my room as we're getting ready for bed and says "Mom come see what I can do!" So I followed her into her room and this is what she shows me.
So then not two seconds behind her is the Tayve watching her sis and trying the same thing!
You're both little goofs, but you Ayla Dell are the reigning Queen. :)
Ten Month Old Tayvie
Oooh! I love to kiss those soft little checks!
10 months is so fun! Tayvie is just full of smiles. She can be sad one minute and the next, give the happiest grin you've ever seen! She is at that fun climbing stage, and she is determined to master it! She climbs everything in sight. She pulls herself up and walks around furniture and walls, and she even stands on her own for about 20 seconds or so. She'll even walk around if she's pushing something.
Her sweet little jabbering sounds are my FAVORITE right now. 'tah, tah, tah' real soft like she's wispering, and then there's the grawling like a bear- so cute. She use to just holler "AY-YA" but now she wispers it over and over "ay-ya, ay-ya, ay-ya" while she's playing with Ayla's hair so softly like she's trying to wake her up.
She gives the best loves. I love that great big sweet smile on her face right before she cuddles in to give me the best hug ever. She likes to play with my eyelashes, she likes baby dolls, and her favorite toy is a little toy that plays piano music, she goes straight for it and dances when it sings.
At her doctor appointment the other day she weighed 16 lbs... so baby girl has got to gain 4 lbs in the next two months so she can go forward facing in her carseat!
We are so looking forward to Christmas this year, Tayvie's at such a fun stage she will love ripping the wrapping paper!
