Well... that title may have been just a bit dramatic. But as you can see, here we are sitting at our camp, we had just come home from a day of exploring and we look up and there are 4 huge Bison coming right through our camp!
That redish tent is my tent, you can see the Bison came right through there. One actually came between these two tents more towards the table we were sitting at!

Here we are blurry people, evacuating our camp.
When they got to the road these two started butting heads and fighting... that was a little scary. This one below even rolled in the dirt a few times!
Other years Bison have walked through our camp, the only time it was really scary was the year after my sister Gentry had her Aneurism. She was walking slowly with a 3 pronged cane and she and I started to go for a walk. We only made it to the edge of our camp when my parents where hollering to us. We looked up just in time to see this HUGE bison coming through the trees. When he saw us he stopped right in front of us, seriously 3 feet away, and blocking our way back to camp. He stood there and stared at us for what seemed like FOREVER. We just stood still, my head was racing though, I know you are not supposed to run but I didn't know how I would get Gentry out of there if he moved towards us. He kept looking at us and then up the hill, finally he decided to go up the hill! And we slowly moved back to camp.
This time was just fun to watch them come through!
